Mombasa South coast has a large selection of budget and mid-range hotels. Some are located along sandy beaches, creeks and in the smaller towna like Tiwi and Maweni. The best are located in the up-market Diani Beach area of Mombasa south coast.

The majority of budget and mid-range hotels, apartments and self catering cottages in the south coast of Mombasa are on second or third rows from the beach. The ones located right on the beach are relatively more expensive and require advance booking during peak and high season periods.
