Mombasa North coast has a large selection of budget and mid-range hotels. Some are located along sandy beaches, creeks and in the small towns along the Mombasa - Kilifi Road. Others are located in the up-market Nyali area of Mombasa.

The majority of budget and mid-range hotels, apartments and self catering cottages in the north coast of Mombasa are on second or third rows from the beach. The ones located right on the beach are relatively more expensive and require advance booking during peak and high season periods.
