We also arrange for a whole days outing which includes a picnic lunch on an isolated beach. Two of the most highly recommended sites are Kiniyka Island (30 minutes south-east of Lamu) and Manda Toto Island (40 minutes north of Manda Island).

We have water sports for all age groups and levels of experience. Competent instructors and a wide range of equipment to hire from windsurfers, sailing Mirror and Lasers, wake boards, body boards and water skis. Kite surfing instructors are available but you will need to bring your own equipment.

The nearby mangrove creek is ideal for water skiing during high tide. For those on a purely holiday relaxed mood, we offer kayaks on the beach.

The best time to ski is often early in the morning, when the sea is calmest and there is little wind. All water sport activity in Lamu takes place down the channel as the sea is more calm and flatter in this area.
