The New Makuti Villas in Kilifi Kenya is situated just off the Mombasa - road along Old Ferry Rd.
Newly renovated, the new Makuti is a budget travellers hotel with very spacious self-contained rooms spread out in a beautiful mature tropical garden.
Makuti villas is of a simple modern architecture with original African designs. All the rooms are palm leaf thatched hence the name 'Makuti'. The 36 rooms are all standard with ceiling fans, well ventilated and have a capacity of 72 persons. The floors are well polished galana(river stones) sheets that brings a real feel of nature. Each room has a verandah overlooking the magnificient tropical garden, which capture the cool breeze from the sea. The main restaurant is very simple and yet unique. The roofing and colour scheme spread out the mood of being at a place full of luxury and life around.
Each room has a fan and mosquito net. A large well maintained pool is positioned in the middle of the gardens.
The restaurant at the New Makuti Villas serves both continental and Italian meals, prepared by well trained chef's. It is a popular lunch stop-over for people travelling to and from Mombasa. Advance booking higly recommended.

A deposit of 50% towards your total bill for your stay at New Makuti Villas Kilifi is payable to tentatively confirm your accommodation. Your 50% deposit is payable either via Electronic Bank Fund Transfer (SWIFT EFT) or through the Western Union / Safaricom International Mobile Money Transfer service for overseas clients by using your credit card. The balance of 50% is payable 14 days prior to your check-in date. If booking is made with less than 14 days to date of check-in, then full payment is applicable to confirm your booking.
However, the above accommodation booking criteria will not apply for clients checking in as from 10th December 2012 to 7th January 2013 when full payment is required prior to confirmation of your accommodation.
Upon receipt of your initial deposit, we will send you a Tentative Booking Confirmation Voucher, as an email attachment, which will also acknowldge receipt of your deposit and will show your check-in / check-out dates and room type booked. Upon receipt of your balance, we will send you a Booking Confirmation Voucher, as an e-mail attachment, and which you will present at the New Makuti Villas Kilifi reception desk upon arrival.
